“We take it one game at a time. There is a lot of noise around this run, and that is fine, but our job has not changed. Saturday is the next game, and then Tuesday.”

Asked about the second-half pressure, he was calm about the response his side produced.

“The goal at the far post was the moment. After that we had to manage the game, and I think we managed the space well. It was never a game where we were under real pressure for long spells.”
